Bulgar Wheat is whole durum wheat that has been pre-cooked, dried and crushed. It is an essential foodstuff naturally rich in protein, minerals and fiber.  Hulled wheat is soaked and coarsely pounded. Its is traditionally used for many traditional recipes. It is a key ingredient in preparing recipes like Hareesah and Khichda. The prepared wheat is mixed with other pulses(beans, chickpeas, lentils, etc,)and spices. Bulgur, also called bulghur or burghul, is most commonly consumed in countries like Armenia, Bulgaria and Turkey, where it is used in various salads or as the base of a soup made with yogurt, Tarhana.
