Roland Sesame Oil is sold in a traditional tin with net 56 Oz (3.5 pt). Roland Sesame Oil is made from toasted, white sesame seeds. It has a dark, amber color and has a distinct, nutlike, aromatic flavor. Because of its strong flavor, it is used primarily as a condiment, i.e. flavoring element. It has wide acceptance in all types of Asian and Pan-Pacific cuisines. It gives an "exotic" taste to many dishes. Use for tempura, frying, sautéing, seasoning, etc. The oil may be used straight from the tin, preferably at room temperature.
