Divina brand Non-pareil Capers are the smallest of the commercially used capers. They are green/gray. The caper is the flower bud of a low growing vine found in Mediterranean countries. It is cured in brine and packed in vinegar. Use right out of the jar, for both hot and cold dishes. Greek, Spanish and Italian cuisine use capers in a wide variety of recipes. Capers are now also being used in "American" dishes such as meat loaf and tuna fish salads, as well as sauces and as a garnish. Kosher (Parve). Product of the Morocco and/or Turkey.
