12 Driftwood Pieces From the shores of Lake Huron, Art/Crafts components. Fascinating Beachcombing Collectables.
 Picked from the freshwater shores of Lake Huron in Michigan. Collected at various times on various dates over the past few months.  Carefully placed and stored to naturally dry out. Some are fairly young.  Some are fairly old.  Some are  relatively light.  Some are relatively heavy. 

Mixed origin. Some are sturdy. Some are fragile. Some may be cedar.  Some may be pine.  Some may be oak.  Some are indeterminate.  Some may have been lumber scraps from an on-board vessel construction project or repair project or maybe a lake house project. Some a detached segment of fallen shoreline tree the fate of which is also a mystery.  driftwood mobile

Lake Superior and Lake Michigan both drain into Lake Huron as the water journeys to the St Lawrence Seaway and into the Atlantic Ocean.  The possible scenarios are near endless.

The set photographed then each piece turned over and photographed in its same place.  The pieces range in size from 3 1/2 " to 15 ".

NOTE:  Its old wood. Every attempt will be made to bubble wrap and ship the set without significant damage.  However, it is old wood.  Some material will dislodge and remove itself from it's home piece(s).
